The youngest of four brothers, Felton was born in Kensington, London, England on September 22nd, 1987. Throughout his childhood Tom was in four choirs, beginning with his church choir at age 7. Felton was educated until the age of 13 at West Horsley’s Cranmore School, then Howard of Effingham School, a comprehensive school in Surrey.
Felton began his acting career with commercials with winning a role in a coveted advertising campaign, beating out 400 other young actors. He shot another commercial which brought him to New York City’s Time Square to shoot a production for Commercial Union. In 1995, he performed the voice of James in the television series Bugs and landed his first feature film role in 1997 when he played the part of Peagreen Clock in Peter Hewitt’s film The Borrowers. Later Tom Felton played a witness Thomas Ingham in Second Sight. In the same year (1999) Felton filmed the role of Louis T. Leonowens for the film Anna and the King.
Tom Felton’s biggest role thus far came later when a chance to play Draco Malfoy from the best-selling book series Harry Potter.
